Jacob Walsh, M.Ed., BCBA
Jacob Walsh joined the Behavior And Education family in 2012. His aptitude for each position he held at BAE, from Behavior Therapist, to Consultant, Supervisor, and Program Manager, led to his promotion to Program Director in 2017. Prior to his work with BAE, Jacob began his career as a special education teacher through the prestigious Teach for America corps program.
Jacob received his Masters in Special Education from Arizona State University and his Bachelor of Arts from The Catholic University of America. He is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with extensive experience in residential, classroom, and community settings. Jacob’s areas of expertise include the use of Teaching Interactions, Discrete Trials, Pivotal Response Training, Picture Exchange Communication System, and Behavioral Skills Training. Jacob is especially passionate about applying ABA in educational settings, curriculum design and development, and using ABA to teach higher-order skills.
In his free time, Jacob can be found playing ultimate frisbee or listening to his favorite Spotify playlist.
